To mobilize and equip faith communities in DC to live out their calling to biblical justice by meeting the housing needs of the city.
DC churches and their members are directly impacted by the city’s affordable housing crisis. We hear from churches all the time that they feel a call to respond, yet they feel so overwhelmed by the problem and have no idea how to get started.
At the same time, churches across the city already do great work in this space, and have a hunger to unite with like-minded groups doing similar work.
Just Homes exists to fill these gaps. We answer that question of how to address the affordable housing crisis and make connections between churches doing this work. We provide opportunities for churches to come together, learn from each other, and support one another.
Churches are different—they have different resources, gifts, and contexts—so how each church meets their community’s housing needs will be unique. But we believe all churches can do something, and can support one another as they do. Just Homes exists to help facilitate, catalyze, and multiply that work.
